Aircraft Twirls Out of Control into Palm Trees at Popular Southern California Beach
A helicopter hovering over a crowded coastal shoreline abruptly commenced twirling out of control, eventually dropping height and smashing into a row of palm trees as spectators looked on.
Recordings uploaded online depict the aircraft starting to spin near the beach then plunging in the direction of the perimeter of the shore, where it ends up lodged among palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.

Local firefighters stated five people were taken to hospital involving two individuals who were in the chopper and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the accident on the weekend.
